You can download our Adult Coeliac Disease Diagnosis Card here, this card shows the clinical pathway for adults.
Starship Children’s Health and Coeliac New Zealand have created a unique partnership to provide better community support and care for children with coeliac
disease. This has included the development of a new regional clinical pathway,
for children who live in the Auckland, Waitamata and Counties Manakau District Health Board regions. For more information on the new
clinical pathway see the Diagnosis Information page.
It is critical that your patient is eating a normal gluten containing diet for 4-6 weeks before undertaking screening tests for CD, for more info on screening tests click here.
We have an information brochure about coeliac disease, if you would like some copies for your patients, please contact us: firstname.lastname@example.org or 09 414 7467.
